June 08 The Intereconomía Group and Nvia sign an agreement for the interactive development of the group. The Intereconomia Group has selected Nvia as partner for the interactive development of all their media through SMS/MMS/WAP/WEB and VOICE solutions. The Intereconomia Group is today a highly diversified multimedia group that carries out its activity as follows: TV (Intereconomia TV), Radio (Radio Intereconomia), Publications (Epoca, Alba...), Internet (intereconomia.com) and other recently created business areas.

May 08 Nvia revolutionizes the TV Call world with Antena 3 TV. Nvia has generated a new entertainment concept of TV Call (Programs which allow viewer interactivity) with the development of an interactive virtual Sudoku, the Super-Ku. A very attractive design with animation by a presenter that can be virtually incorporated into the program when the game is reproduced with the same camera movements as those in a real TV studio. All the interactivity of Super-Ku is produced live through virtual reality, the resolution of the Sudokus, the prize amounts, the stopwatch, etc. To participate and resolve the sudoku by making a call or sending an SMS, all participants win something, either prizes and/or exchangeable points.

February 08 Nvía aids the physically handicapped. Nvía collaborates with Vodafone in a project for improving communications for Predif and Aspaym members. These two non-profit associations for the physically handicapped have been established in Spain for many years helping people with physical handicaps and limited mobility. The project aims to achieve tangible improvements in the services offered by the associations to their members based on mobile communicatons as a basic element in their relationship. |
January 08 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Nvía will participate in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to be held between 11 and 14 February. December 07 Nvía develops the Video Call for Antena 3 Television. The Video Call is one of the improvements made in the Nvía TV Chat. This service allows new levels of interactivity with televiewers who may participate by sending their opinion to the programs, in video format, directly from their mobile by simply calling a given telephone number. |
November 07 Cabinamanía gives away 4 Sony Ericsson K530i phones dail. Telefónica Telecomunicaciones Públicas (TTP) launches, with Nvía Support, a contest through which it wishes to thank its users for their confidence in the Company and promote the use of public telephones. Through a “winning moment” from a public phone booth, participants will learn automatically if they have won a Sony Ericcson phone. Non-winners may still have access to the prize by introducing on the Cabinamanía Web the code received by SMS in their mobile. The campaign will finalize in mid-February. |
October 07 NVIA selected by the Red Cross as platform for their new MMS services. Due to the experience accumulated by NVIA in this field, the Red Cross has selected NVIA for providing this technology support to launch new services based on MMS. Among them, a new multimedia tutoring system for the care of dependent persons. |
September 07 NVIA signs an agreement with Telefónica Música as support for Cabinamanía downloads. NVIA acts as technological platform for contents provided by Telefónica Música to Cabinamanía for downloading musical or videomusical contents in all formats supported by mobile phones through Telefónica phone booths.

NVIA´s TV Chat tool provides greater flexibility in managing TV Chats and live Voting, allowing for instantly adapting its functionalities, and visualization thereof, to the requirements of each program. June 07 A further step in accessing contents for mobiles. Telefónica Telecomunicaciones Públicas (TTP) launches with NVIA the possibility of accessing contents for mobiles, such as melodies, logos, animations, etc., through their telephone booth network. In addition to mobile recharging, which was already available, this network comprising 42,000 booths with more than 56,000 telephones using diverse payment methods (Coins, Credit Cards and Telephone Cards), now allows for personalizing mobiles with a variety of contents.

May 07 Through Datatalk, another group company, NVIA lights up NIGHTOLOGY nights at the Electric Hotel. As occurred last year with Nightology Boat, Datatalk coordinates the booking of all the events to be organized by J&B (Diageo) with Electric Hotel in different cities on the Iberian Peninsula. For this purpose, a new tool is used which combines WEB/VOICE and SMS solutions so that all the reservations may be made and confirmed by the operators. |

NVIA participates with its technology in the first Mobile Film Fest to be held in Spain. The participants in this new festival of shorts filmed with mobiles may send their creations directly from their mobiles through MMS Premium. This initiative, which has been highly successful in other countries, has the backing of the Spanish Film Academy, which will lend their installations for presentation of the awards. |

NVIA, together with Prisa Group, launches the first MMS Premium campaign in the country. NVIA was selected by Prisacom to launch their initiative “I the Journalist” with the daily newspaper El Pais, an innovative way of interacting with its readers, who may participate by sending news items, photos or videos through their mobile. The new “journalists” may add text with their photos to enrich the news item. |
